Adán is a production of Adán Pictures Inc., a non-profit corporation. The film is fully registered with the Screen Actor's Guild and the New York City Mayor's Office of Film, Theater and Broadcasting, and is insured through Cornell University.
News
- 2/15 The initial rough cut of the film is finished.
- 1/30 Thomas DeRenzo (Control Room) has signed on to compose the score for the film.
- 1/24 All filming is finished and we are moving ahead with post-production.
- 1/11 Principal photography is now complete and there are only two days of filming left.
- 12/9 We have completed the majority of rehearsal.
- 11/10 Tim Cody, Harry Seddon have been cast as the Police Officers, and Todd Faulkner as been cast as the Counselor, completing the casting of all principal roles.
- 10/25 Gina Ojile (Law and Order) has agreed to play the role of Anne, and Teresa Yenque (Bella) has signed on to play the role of Mariela.
- 10/24 Andrew Jones has signed on as an associate producer and first assistant director. Michael Consolmagno will serve as production coordinator.
- 10/12 We completed auditions for several of the major roles. Arturo Castro (Looking for Palladin) has signed on to play the lead role of Miguel and Gilbert Cruz (Law & Order) has tentatively signed on to play the Principal. We are still considering several actors for other roles.
- 10/10 The Cornell Undergraduate Research Program and the Einhorn Discovery Grant have provided over one fifth of our total budget.
- 9/3 Gilma Avalos has signed on to play the role of the Spanish Newscaster
- 8/28 Gabriel had a very positive meeting with two Cornell representatives and applied for about 20% of the film's budget in grant money
- 8/15 Acting coach Mary Boyer has sent us contact information for several her students who she feels would fit several roles
- 8/7 We've begun communicating with the High School for Law and Public Service in Manhattan where we hope to film most of the school scenes
- 8/5 Eric Westpheling has signed on to be the Director of Photography
